Why is bottled water so popular? Consult any diet book, medical website, or doctor, and they’ll tell you to start drinking water if you want to lose weight or improve your health. While water’s benefits are quite clear, the water in our taps isn’t, and bottled water may be our best choice to improve health and lose weight.
Americans
consume toxins such as hormones, pesticides and chemicals daily, in
huge quantities. Ingesting the recommended amounts of water each day
can help the liver and kidneys flush these poisons from the body more
effectively. Without enough water, the toxins can build up and cause
health problems like headaches, stiff joints and pain. If these toxins
can’t be excreted in the urine, they try to exit the body through the
skin, causing acne, eczema and other skin conditions.
